The UN International Day of Peace is observed every year on September 21st. In 2007, I observed the day by standing at the streetcorner with a hand-made sign saying: WILL WORK FOR PEACE.
Ned, I get all different kinds of feelings about our country more than ever in this day. The current direction our
"leaders" are going is very alarming to say the least.
Our future as a nation seems to be in question more than ever. We have had to watch helplessly while the current administration has ,in my opinion, brought us to a point of no return.
A world war is being waged as we speak. Mass migration, corruption, and unspeakable crimes against humanity are being implemented in front of our eyes.
I'm totally blown away at the fact that they are allowed to continue, period. I'm no lawyer, butt I think this has been a outrageous case of incompetent leadership topped with treason. Insanely ridiculous honestly, maybe I'm overreacting?
My 16 yr old could have done a better job. I don't believe it has to be this complicated,at all. Thank goodness and the UN for one day of peace,but the day isn't over yet, Right?
Politicians are not "Leaders." It's folly to follow them! Just as it is folly to follow celebrities and the corporate new media. Important question to ask oneself: Who do I follow?

All well and good Ned B…BUT the UN and all the ‘agencies’ associated with it and under it’s ‘umbrella’, primarily the WHO, are are a serious part of the ‘problem’ we face now in the USA and The World, and should not be supported. They are serious supporters and promoters of vaxxines and Big Pharma drugs, throughout the world. This so called ‘Day of Peace’ is total BS! The USA needs to get out of the UN!

We are in agreement on the BS, Lupita. It's like having a "Day of Chastity" at a whorehouse.
But, back in 2007, I used the occasion to motivate myself to some symbolic action.
Agree re: WHO/WEF. However Peace is not the property of the UN. Peace is a value, a goal, a process to work for/with...even for one day...
